Let's Write!
The key to time management and completing a PhD in the 3-year timeline suggested by new EU guidelines is setting aside time to write. Writing is a crucial part of advancing in any academic field, but since it is often not the most urgent thing vying for academics' attention it tends to end up at the bottom of the to-do list. the DIWA Writing Fellows meetings will combat this problem by scheduling regular communal writing sessions and continual writing instruction and feedback.
What are the DIWA Writing Fellows meetings?
We will begin with 10-15 minutes of tips on time management, writing, graphics, or presenting. The rest of the time, we will get to work on our writing! Regular attendees will also have the opportunity for peer- and instructor-reviews of your work.
Who is this for?
DIWA PhD students should try to come to one meeting most weeks. Other WE3 or DIWA PhD students, postdocs, and PIs are also welcome to join!
