Transnational Collaboration for Sustainable Solutions is an online course offered by the Language Centre at Åbo Akademi University in collaboration with Université de Neuchâtel (Switzerland), the University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic) and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden). The course consists of a ten-week online module. Course participants work in transnational teams and the working language is English.
Course participants will identify a sustainability challenge, define and investigate the challenge, as well as create and present a feasible solution. The course entails some joint meetings, but teams will complete most of the coursework on their own with supervision and guidance from the teachers. Since collaboration is an important aspect of the course, participants are expected to take shared responsibility for teamwork and commit to completing the whole course.
