What does everyone need to know about climate change? Climate.now is a course on the basics of climate system, its change and effects of the change, how to mitigate and adapt to changing climate.
Having studied the course, the student
- masters the basics of how the climate systems works and is able to define the causes and consequences of climate change
- masters the fundamentals of climate change mitigation and adaptation
- is able to look at climate change from several different perspectives, create connections between them and look for solutions to climate change
- is able to identify climate change as a global human and ethical challenge
- is able to evaluate his / her own role in climate change and apply what he / she has learned in his / her own field
- is able to critically examine different perspectives, solutions, sources of information and the debate on climate change
