Learning outcomes:

• Essential terms of Finnish geology in Finnish and English. Soil classification, formations, surficial deposits and bedrock.
• Formation processes of Finish formations. Typical soil layer sequence in Finnish formations.
• Basic use and simple interpretation of the Finnish soil map in online service of Geological Survey of Finland.
