The scope of this course is to enhance facilitators general knowledge on Intellectual Disabilities, as well as theri insight into the challenges of living with Intellectual Disabilities. Information on the Legal Rights of persons with Intellectual Disabilities can help facilitators to advocate in favor of these rights. Moreover, this course aims to enrich them with effective communication skills which can be applied when interacting with persons with Intellectual Disabilities, in order to promote their accessibility to different services.
Completion of the course will take approximately 6 hours.
