Introduction to Business in Asia is an online MOOC open to everyone.

Registration for the course ends on 1 December 2026, and the course can be taken until 18 December 2026

The course is designed to provide foundational knowledge for effectively engaging with Asia’s opportunities and challenges. It covers three major regions in Asia —East, South, and Southeast Asia— and consists of six modules. Modules 2–6 focus on specific countries as well as key regional issues.

4. Vietnam; ASEAN, and Supply Chains

5. Indonesia; Sustainable Business

6. India; Location Choices

 

Each module includes learning materials, assignments, and an exam. All assignments and exams are automatically graded. Exams consist of six randomly selected multiple-choice questions, and students are allowed three attempts per exam. To successfully complete the course and earn a certificate, students must pass all assignments and exams.

This course meets the requirements of a credit-bearing course at the University of Turku, Finland.
