Course Overview
In today’s rapidly changing world, educators play a crucial role in equipping students with transversal skills—abilities that transcend specific subjects and prepare learners for future challenges. These include collaboration, adaptability, critical thinking, creativity, and inclusivity. This course aims to help teachers understand, develop, and integrate transversal skills into their teaching practices, enabling them to foster these essential abilities in their students.
Through a combination of self-reflection, interactive learning, and peer collaboration, participants will explore practical strategies for embedding transversal skills into STEM education and beyond. The course also emphasizes the importance of addressing challenges such as sustainability, diversity, and digitalization, aligning with the goals of the acaSTEMy project.
