Corporate Diplomacy is increasingly recognized as a critical strategic function for organizations operating in complex international environments. This course explores how companies -and particularly global sports leagues- adopt diplomatic roles to build legitimacy, manage stakeholder networks, and advance non-market agendas across borders.

Through relationship-building with governments, NGOs, communities, and other institutional actors, corporate diplomacy extends beyond traditional business operations. It involves navigating regulatory systems, fostering shared value, and positioning the organization as a credible, responsible, and influential actor on the global stage. Emphasizing applied learning and real-world cases, the course equips students to analyze and design diplomacy strategies that integrate intelligence, communication, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement
