Welcome to the Health Effects of Fine Particles course, offered jointly at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels within the Atmospheric Science program of the Nanjing–Helsinki Institute (NHI).
This course explores how fine and ultrafine particles influence human health, combining insights from atmospheric physics, chemistry, and biomedical science to help you understand the complex links between air quality and well-being.
The course is coordinated by Docent Giancarlo Ciarelli, with active participation and teaching contributions from Stephen Ingram, who will be leading selected lectures and discussions throughout the course.
Classes are held twice per week, following a 2 × 50-minute lecture format with a 10-minute break in between.
