GENERAL OBJECTIVE |
The learner will be introduced to: • key terms, processes and chemicals used in sustainable leather production, as well as new tanning processes for leather production, • applying safety and preventive measures when handling chemicals in the leather production processes, based on EU criteria, BAT and the Industrial Emission Directive • appropriate physico-chemical methods to assess efficiency of innovative processes according to specific standards or methodologies. |
