General objective: The learner will be introduced to:
- Implement the principles of Rs in the textile and clothing processes.
- Select sustainable materials and production methods,
- Develop sustainable textile and clothing production and waste management.
- Identify, manage and reduce the textile waste.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
After the completion of this module, learners will:
• Describe the principles of the Rs (Refuse, Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Refurbish, Remanufacture, Repurpose, Recycle and Recover) in the textile and clothing process chain.
• Explain the environmental and economic significance of applying Rs strategies in textile production.
• Recognize sustainable materials and production methods that support circularity.
• Explain the impact of textile waste on sustainability and the role of Rs in waste reduction.
Skills
After the completion of this module, learners will be able to:
• Apply Rs principles to optimize textile and clothing processes.
• Analyze textile process chains to identify opportunities for waste reduction and resource efficiency.
• Develop strategies for sustainable material selection and production methods.
