- Formative assessment (Quizzes, Presentations and demonstrations, and Reports on laboratory work/practical exercises)
- Summative assessment (Case study analysis reporting via video conferencing tools, written exam, role-play)
General objective: The learner will be introduced to:
- Analyze leadership and business management concepts within the Textile, Clothing, Leather, and Footwear (TCLF) sectors.
- Implement leadership theories and styles, Human resource management practices that are essential for guiding teams and optimising sustainable production environments.
- Induce and maintain talent development and motivational strategies for equipping participants with the skills to foster a productive and engaged workforce.
- Execute strategic HRM and leadership traits, understanding labour legislation and social responsibility principles to ensure the importance of ethical leadership and compliance in managing human resources.

Knowledge
After the completion of this module, learners will:
• Gain crucial knowledge about leadership theories and management practices in production environments within the TCLF sectors.
• Acquire the techniques of talent development and the way to implement motivational theories to enhance the workforce’s performance, recruitment, training, and retention, especially focusing on TCLF industries.
• Become capable at strategic planning, fostering positive culture, conflict resolution, and ethical decision-making in TCLF organisations.
