Tavoite ja sisältö: The course provides a comprehensive introduction to the pragmatic ability and theoretical
frameworks with a particular reference to the relation with the cognitive functioning (e.g. executive functions and
social cognition) and overview of the pragmatic impairments (e.g. traumatic brain injury, left and right brain
damage, schizophrenia, autism) detectable along the lifespan. In addition, the course provides knowledge of the
assessment and intervention of pragmatic abilities.
Suoritustapa: Group discussion on the topics covered during the course and poster presentation of the teamwork
(assignment) on one of the main topics covered by the course.
