Training at IMPACT-ED Botanical Garden introduces Botanical Gardens as infrastructure network facilitating species conservation, research and education and climate-resilient, nature-based solutions (NbS) that align plant conservation.  Using scientific articles and other material learners are introduced to some basics on role of plants in mitigating climate change and on botanical gardens. Work at botanical garden familiarizes you with different plant species, their ecological requirements and how they are cultivated at botanical garden as well as diverse tasks needed to design, establish, maintain botanical gardens. Course discussion forum for learners working at different Botanical Gardens enable sharing experiences, ideas and information during the training. Course includes learning diary reflecting tasks done during the training and final report with background information, aims and description of tasks and output of the training project.
