Describe the basic concepts of forest ecology and the main factors determining biodiversity in forest ecosystems. Understand the main principles of forest management for even-aged and uneven-aged forestry. Identify forest and peatland plant species. Evaluate the role of forest management on different ecosystem services. Describe the factors affecting forest health and resilience.
