"Methodological imagination: Research week for cultural studies" is an Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme at the University of Eastern Finland, organized in cooperation with the Universities of Bremen and Ljubljana, aiming at deepening the methodological foundations of cultural studies. It will take place on 14 April and 5 May 2023 online, and during the week of 8-12 May 2023 at the University of Eastern Finland in Joensuu. There, in five consecutive steps, the participants will get introduced with the methods of sensory research, primarily sensory-ethnographic research of sound and sound environments; walking methods; art-based methods; collaborative mapping; and methods of writing and reading, the use of multimodal ethnographic documentation, storytelling, and imagination.
