Description

Objectives: 

By completing the course, the student will: 

• -       Be able to describe the basics of digital health and healthcare in the context of EHDS.

• -       Be able to describe the EHDS regulation, its motivation, and its implications.

• -       Acquire a working knowledge of the infrastructure proposed to implement EHDS.

• -       Become aware of the relevant legislations in the context of EHDS.

• -       Be able to describe the security and privacy requirements in the context of EHDS.

Content:

• -       eHealth – Digital health and care

• -       EHDS regulation and infrastructure

• -       Tools and technologies for EHDS ecosystem

• -       Health data security and privacy

 

Study methods: 

The course is completed by studying the content in every one of the seven modules (Module 6 is optional), and completing all the associated tasks. Those interested in 3 ECTS must also complete the Module 6 task.

 

Implementation methods (include expected hours the student will use):

The course will be held completely online. All the study materials, assignments, quizzes, and similar tasks will be available on the platform
