Description
Objectives
By completing the course, the student will:
- - Be able to describe the basics of digital health and healthcare in the EU.
- - Be able to describe the EHDS regulation, its motivation, and its implications.
- - Acquire a working knowledge of the infrastructure proposed to implement EHDS.
- - Understand the relevant legislations like GDPR, Act on Secondary use of data, Data Act, AI Act, etc.
- - Be able to describe the security and privacy requirements in the context of EHDS and digital health.

Study methods
The course is completed by watching all the recorded lectures and doing all the assignments, open-book quizzes, and bi-weekly independent exercises. Students must do the course independently.
