Description

Objectives 

By completing the course, the student will: 

  • -       Be able to describe the basics of digital health and healthcare in the EU.
  • -       Be able to describe the EHDS regulation, its motivation, and its implications.
  • -       Acquire a working knowledge of the infrastructure proposed to implement EHDS.
  • -       Understand the relevant legislations like GDPR, Act on Secondary use of data, Data Act, AI Act, etc.
  • -       Be able to describe the security and privacy requirements in the context of EHDS and digital health.

  • -       Tools and technologies for EHDS ecosystem
  • -       Health-related legislations
  • -       Health data security and privacy

 

Study methods 

The course is completed by watching all the recorded lectures and doing all the assignments, open-book quizzes, and bi-weekly independent exercises. Students must do the course independently.

The course will be held completely online. All the recorded lectures, assignments, quizzes, and exercises will be available.
