Digital twins are created for professional and commercial use for example in manufacturing and museums. How are digital twins made? What are the steps involved and technologies needed? In the CUDIS workshop, you will learn about digital scanning and content creation. We will implement a scanning project in the multidisciplinary research environment LogoLab, which consists of a speech research laboratory and simulation teaching facilities. In the workshop, you get to explore the use of drones, space scanners, and virtual tour software.
Price: Free of charge. However, we require the participants to fill out their participant information in the EURA 2021 information system of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. You will receive the instructions when you register.
For whom? Primarily students pursuing a master’s or postgraduate degree in the humanities or computing, and recent graduates/jobseekers in these fields. However, others interested are also welcome. Jobseekers can include training as part of their part-time studies. Jobseekers must always check the possible effects of participating in the visits on unemployment benefits with Job Market North Karelia (formerly TE services) in advance.
