This course gives some basics of photonics and optics. It contain also theoretical aspects, so some preliminary knowledge on physics and mathematics is assmed; see Prerequisites so that you can see if this course suits to you or if you need to first update your knowledge.
This course is the first course in the MSc program in Photonics. But it can be helpful also people studing or working in other fields.
