H5P change is progressing – Switch to using the newer H5P tool during 2026
DigiCampus currently supports two types of H5P activities: The H5P tool integrated in the Moodle core, and the separate H5P – Interactive Content plugin.
The H5P – Interactive Content plugin will be gradually phased out. Courses will need to transition to using the H5P tool included in Moodle core.
The H5P Interactive Content activity will be removed from DigiCampus in the December 2026 update (the deadline has been extended from the previously announced date). At this point in the change process, it is already not possible to add new H5P Interactive Content activities to courses. Content created previously using the separate add-on will continue to function and can be edited. After the add-on is removed, materials created with the add-on will also be removed from use.
